The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation (ABF)
In 2016, Jessica Travis was elected to be a member of The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation (ABF). The Fellows is an honorary organization of attorneys, judges, law faculty and legal scholars, and was established in 1955, to support the research of the American Bar Foundation.
To become a member, you must be nominated by your peers for demonstrating extraordinary leadership in the legal profession. Once nominated, you then have to be elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation. Membership to this elite organization is limited to less than one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction.
